The Beatles from Studio to Stage

The Beatles "ABBEY ROAD" LIVE @ 50!

This winter The Liverpool Sessions , a 10 piece tribute to the band’s Studio Years, assemble for an anniversary performance of the entire 1969 album. Along with favourites and rarities from EMI studio 3, plus the band's hit single, "Hey Jude", and more surprises.

Following the unfinished "Get Back" sessions in January 1969, The Beatles reassembled for what would be one last time. While business, artistic differences, and new relationships were taking it's toll, Lennon and McCartney arrived with some of their best work. However, it was George Harrison who nearly stole the show....

Songs like "Something" and "Here Comes The Sun" are a moving compliment to the epic medley that makes up "Side 2".

"Come Together", "Octopus's Garden", "Oh Darlin'" and more classics made "Abbey Road" the bands final masterpiece.

The 11th in a series of Anniversary Performances will be an event not to be missed, recreating the studio atmosphere of Abbey Road at Toronto's Glenn Gould Studio.
