ReActivate Your Certification with a SUCI Professional

Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? The ReActivate™ program is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, ReActivate is personalized for you: You conveniently review scuba concepts on your tablet, mobile device or computer, then go diving with a PADI Professional. It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next scuba diving course or get ready for the dive season. The best part is, divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a ReActivated date on it.

Any PADI certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel/dive update should ReActivate. SUCI, dive shops and dive resorts appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in.

Your PADI certification does not expire.  Participation in PADI ReActivate™ is not mandatory, but recommended as an easy way to refresh your foundational scuba safety knowledge and skills if you haven’t been diving in a while. Divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a “ReActivated thru” date on it.

Why learn with SUCI?

When you learn to dive with SUCI, you’re joining a club that believes in safe, conservative, enjoyable diving. We have a focus on training with high staff to student ratios and numerous PADI professionals and club members that give of their time to share their love and knowledge of scuba with new divers.

Where is the course held?

  • PADI eLearning (Online knowledge development) can be completed wherever you have access to the Internet. You can get started on your eLearning as soon as you’re registered for the course.
  • Confined Water Dives: Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, 875 Morningside Road south of the 401 (Map)

Are there any prerequisites?

What do I need to bring? What equipment does SUCI provide?

  • For all dives: You will need to provide your own scuba mask, snorkel, and fins
  • For Confined Water Dives: SUCI provides the BCD (Buoyancy Compensation Device), regulator and scuba tank. We recommend you obtain a 3mm wet suit for comfort as it can get a little chilly when you’re in the pool.

When can I start?

You don’t have to wait to get going. With PADI’s eLearning, you can start as soon as you’re registered for the course! A SUCI instructor will monitor your progress and be available to answer any questions you may have.
